Greek Music and Dancing at Tarpon Springs
You can enjoy some of the best Greek music as well as Greek dancing at the Tarpon Springs Sponge Docks, as they hold their Night in the Islands events. It even includes your favourite Greek cuisine.
The Tarpon Springs Sponge Dock can be found at Dodecanese Boulevard in Tampa Bay, Florida. They held their most recent Greek music night on July 10. Live Greek music was featured on the night as Ellada performed. Ellada is a dynamic Greek band made up of three successful Greek musicians, including George Soffos on the bouzouki, Dino Theofilos on the keyboard and Elias Poulos for vocals. The band is famous for their expertise in the best in old and new Greek music as well as "nisiotika", which is the term used for the animated traditional music of the Greek islands.
