Cannes Will Dance to Greek Music at the International Music Exhibition MIDEM
Greek music will be showcased for the first time at the International Music Exhibition MIDEM, to be held at Cannes from January 22nd to 26th. The Greek music stall will be a benchmark of sorts for all those who are interested in Greek music, pop Greek music or Greek traditional music. The stall will also display information about Greek music production, promotion and circulation.
Many Greek music artists, musicians, producers, etc will get an opportunity to showcase their work at the Greek music stall and also meet and network with foreign colleagues.
Greek Culture foundation members explain that Greek music is diverse like its history. Greek traditional music is similar to Middle Eastern music. The Modern Greek pop music is well integrated with the traditional and is often played at parties and Greek music festivals where both children and adults love dancing.
